Indirect Loan Processor

About the role

We're looking for passionate individuals to join our team as an Indirect Loan Processor. In this role, you'll process vehicle loan applications submitted by indirect program participants, complete loan funding, and assist with dealer and member inquiries related to all aspects of the indirect lending program.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, with every 4th Saturday worked. A day off will be provided during the rotation week (TBD). Onsite day is Wednesday every week.

Responsibilities

• Verify documentation for completeness from indirect program participants, including third-party refinance companies and other vendors, to fund applications.
• Communicate with members and auto dealerships to acquire information necessary to complete loan processing.
• Provide detailed comments regarding conversations with members and dealers concerning all loans.
• Maintain positive and productive relationships with program participants, coaching dealers as needed to avoid recurring funding delays.
• Display professionalism, effective phone and computer skills, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Train employees as needed.
• Work closely with other departments (e.g., Direct Loan Call Center, Consumer Loan Servicing, Consumer Loan Processing, New Member Processing) to complete assigned tasks and assist other units.
• Cross-train to process loan applications submitted by indirect program participants, including third-party refinance companies and other vendors.
• Adhere to underwriting policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Any equivalent combination of experience and education.
