IndieWire: Client Success Associate
IndieWire is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Client Success Associate to support pre-, mid-, and post-sale support for entertainment and consumer accounts. The ideal candidate is nimble, creative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
About the role
You will work with the IndieWire sales, marketing, editorial, ad operations, and product teams to ensure every client partnership delivers a seamless, creative, and results-driven experience. This role is based in Los Angeles and reports to the Senior Client Success Manager. This is also a compelling opportunity for candidates coming from arts organizations, film festivals, or publishing — anywhere deep knowledge of the film and entertainment landscape meets client-facing skills.
Responsibilities
- Support ad operations on asset delivery, digital inventory management, makegoods, and delivery optimization.
- Collect screenshots for display ad takeovers, email sponsorships, custom sponsorships, and other assets.
- Monitor paid social media amplification metrics and budgets.
- Support the creation of compelling proposals, media kits, and sales materials for partner outreach across digital, custom content, and live media offerings.
- Support custom content campaigns including editorial integrations, branded video, and social initiatives — support timelines, logistics, and cross-functional alignment.
- Support management and tracking of marketing assets and deliverables for both digital and live media activations.
- Support creation of detailed campaign wrap-up reports and client-facing decks for integrated and digital packages.
- Support contract negotiations and billing/payment coordination.
- Salesforce entry and accounting coordination to ensure IOs and invoices are accurately entered, tracked, billed, and reconciled.
- Cross-functional communication across sales, video, editorial, social, marketing, and events teams.
- Occasionally event support and on-site duties and responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of experience in media planning, supporting brand partnerships, or other client and sales support.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of the film, TV, and entertainment industry landscape (a bonus).
Qualifications
- Preferred experience working with entertainment industry clients (studios, streamers, distributors, PR firms).
- Background in sponsor/partnership management at an arts organization, film festival, or publisher or entertainment/consumer agency background.
Schedule
As PMC values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture.
Pay
Typical wage $25/hr. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, such as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k).
