About the role
Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district state and federal requirements guidelines and standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district and state standards.
- Adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance educational programs.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on best practices.
Requirements
- Valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR eligibility to obtain an alternative teaching credential.
- Indiana's Early Literacy Endorsement for teachers who teach retained grade 3 students.
- Knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.
Qualifications
- Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and support staff.
- Strong communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
Skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.

- Work Hours: Elementary Schools - 7:45am-3:45pm; Middle and High Schools - 7:10am-3:10pm
