Index Portfolio Management Analyst
About the role
As an Analyst on our Index Portfolio Management team, you'll support the running of index models that determine security selection and portfolio allocation, contributing to products used by clients around the world.
Responsibilities
- Learn how index rebalances and reconstitutions work, developing expertise in indexing, benchmarking, and financial data over time.
- Execute periodic index reconstitution and rebalance models using documented workflows and runbooks.
- Perform independent review and validation of model outputs and underlying data sets to ensure accuracy and methodology adherence.
- Maintain process documentation for data sources, indexes, and workflows, and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to communicate findings and support product and infrastructure enhancements.
Requirements
- Recently completed or final-year student in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience; eagerness to learn, ask questions, and contribute to a team environment.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.
- Clear communicator who works well both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical proficiency in R, Databricks and SQL.

Schedule
This position will be located in Philadelphia, PA and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
