Now Courier is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Independent Contractor to service a new dedicated pharmacy delivery route within our established Indianapolis, IN operation. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a reliable car looking for a consistent weekday schedule while providing exceptional service to healthcare customers.

About the Role

This role involves delivering prescriptions and other pharmacy items safely and on time, adhering to NOW Courier's reputation for reliability and professionalism. The position requires efficient route management using GPS or mapping software, and providing courteous, dependable service to pharmacy staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver with Clockwork Precision: Ensure prescriptions and other pharmacy deliveries are picked up and delivered safely and on time.
• Route Mastery: Utilize GPS or mapping software to efficiently complete scheduled deliveries, return trips, and secondary deliveries as needed.
• Exceptional Customer Service: Provide courteous, dependable service while interacting with pharmacy staff and customers.
• Problem Solving Skills: Adapt quickly to changing delivery requests and maintain timely, accurate deliveries throughout your shift.

Requirements

• Vehicle: A reliable car from 2013 model year or newer.
• Licensing & Insurance: Valid driver's license and commercial insurance coverage with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability.
• Pre-Employment Screening: Successfully complete driving history review, criminal background check, and substance abuse screening.

Compensation and Schedule

Dedicated route paying $45 per day for up to 2 hours of delivery time. Time exceeding the initial 2-hour service window is paid in 15-minute increments. Schedule: Monday through Friday, Start/End Time: 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
