Incoming QC Inspector
About the role
We are looking for an Incoming QC Inspector to join a great team in Indianapolis, IN! This unique split role gives you the best of both worlds—working 50% in a warehouse environment and 50% in a lab setting utilizing analytical tools like FTIR.
Responsibilities
- Perform AQL inspections and routine quality checks on incoming vendor materials.
- Measure product dimensions, test functionality, and review blueprints and technical specs.
- Use advanced analytical equipment (like FTIR) to verify material identities.
- Document inspection results and manage our approved sample standards cabinet.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry preferred OR equivalent hands‑on work.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar quality role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong math, technical, and MS Office skills.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Clear communication and documentation abilities.

Pay
Pay Rate: $25.00 / hour (Contract‑to‑Hire)
