QC Incoming Inspector

Pay Rate: $20–$24/hour (based on experience) Schedule: 7:30am-4:30pm Assignment Type: 6-month contract with potential for extension Position Overview The Manufacturing QC Incoming Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming raw materials and components to ensure they meet established quality standards. This role is critical to maintaining production integrity by identifying non-conforming materials, verifying specifications, and supporting overall quality control initiatives. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials and componentsIdentify, document, and escalate non-conforming materialsVerify materials against product specifications and quality standardsCoordinate with suppliers regarding quality issues and discrepanciesSupport the implementation of quality control processes and improvementsAccurately document inspection results and findingsParticipate in internal and external quality auditsMaintain complete and organized inspection and quality recordsResponsibilities may vary slightly by location Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Experience Requirements 1–3 years of manufacturing quality control or quality assurance experience (preferred)1–3 years of product inspection and material verification experience (preferred) Required Skills & Competencies Quality Control / Quality AssuranceProduct inspection and material verificationStrong documentation and record-keeping skillsAnalytical and problem-solving abilitiesSupplier communication and coordinationAudit participation and compliance awarenessHigh attention to detail and accuracy Preferred Certifications Certified Quality Technician (CQT)
