Responsibilities
- Answer inbound customer calls and build rapport through exceptional service
- Understand customer needs through active listening and thoughtful discovery
- Educate customers on products, services, promotions, and smart home solutions that fit their lifestyle
- Support customers throughout their move, ensuring a seamless transition by helping them customize and set up the right smart home solutions for their new home
- Recommend upgrades, add-on products, and service enhancements that provide additional value
- Navigate multiple systems and tools to efficiently resolve customer inquiries
- Meet and exceed individual sales and performance goals through a consultative sales approach
- Handle objections with confidence and professionalism while maintaining a positive customer experience
- Collaborate with teammates, coaches, and leaders to continuously improve performance and customer outcomes
- Stay current on product offerings, promotions, and sales strategies through ongoing training and development
- Celebrate wins, build your sales expertise, and create meaningful earning opportunities while helping customers protect what matters most
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must obtain a Burglar Alarm License (provided and paid by Vivint)
- Must be able to type 40 WPM
- Cannot reside in CA, CT, DC, ME, or WA

Work From Home & Technology Requirements
- Work-from-home employees cannot be the primary caregivers for children, other people, or pets while on shift
- Have a quiet and private location from which to work that includes a desk and chair
- Provide your own equipment which meets the following requirements:
- A computer (laptop or desktop) no older than 5-7 years (Windows 10 or higher; Apple/Mac products, tablets, or Chromebooks are not compatible)
- At least 16GB RAM
- Wired internet connection (ethernet cable from computer to router)
- High-speed internet (minimum 35mbps upload and 50mbps download speed)
- USB wired headset equipped with a microphone
- USB wired mouse
- Dual monitors (can include laptop + 1 monitor)
- Must provide proof of requirements via image submission & video conference validation
Training & Development
- Training Week 1: 20 hours of work including onboarding, technology setup, on-the-job observations, and online self-paced learning modules
- Training Week 2-6: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Pay
- Starting Rate: $18.50/hour
- Uncapped Monthly Commission: Top performers earn unlimited additional income. On average, team members earn an additional $1,100+ per month in commission.
Working Conditions
This role operates in a professional environment (on-site or remote, depending on assignment). You’ll use standard office equipment including computers, phones, and communication tools.
