iHeartMedia is the number one audio company in America, reaching 90% of Americans every month. We are the largest podcast publisher and have a strong presence in various media platforms including radio, events, and digital.
Responsibilities
- Identify and solicit new business opportunities
- Engage with clients nationwide to discuss advertising opportunities across multiple platforms
- Manage a funnel of 50-100 accounts while maintaining service level requirements
- Respond to inbound leads in a timely and professional manner
- Provide client consultative direction on the best use of their advertising funds
- Collaborate with peers in and outside your organization
- Meet and exceed activity, sales and revenue targets
- Manage client expectations to ensure an outstanding experience
- Retain new business accounts through timely follow up and renewal activity
Requirements
- Radio or Digital media sales experience preferred
- Professional demeanor, including outstanding phone etiquette
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Spanish a plus!
- A competitive spirit that thrives in a highly accountable, metrics driven and tech savvy selling environment
- Belief that anything is possible!
Qualifications
- Maintain focus in a dynamic team environment
- In-Depth knowledge of the media industry and related sales processes
- Ability to apply expertise in a complex sales environment to service large accounts and/or complicated business segments
- Ease working with senior level executives and using influencing skills to negotiations and drive sales
- Desire to stay abreast of emerging market trends and customer needs to expand relationships and trust
- Confidence to solve complex problems using analysis, judgement and multiple sources of information
- Accountability for your own work and a desire to provide guidance to new team members
- Business development experience with new and existing customers
Skills
- Excellent communication skills

Pay
Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for commissions.
