About the role
Xometry (NASDAQ: XMTR) is a digital marketplace that connects manufacturers with buyers at Fortune 1000 companies. As an Account Executive I, you will manage and convert inbound leads into loyal customers, serving as a key point of contact for customers throughout the sales process.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships and identify strategic long-term clients
- Develop business with existing and new inbound customers
- Create and manage plans to achieve sales objectives and market share improvements
- Aid customers in selecting the best rapid manufacturing technology for their projects
- Be the primary contact for all new projects related to prototyping and low volume production
- Provide guidance to the sales engineering team in developing quotes based on specific customer needs
- Deliver technical presentations at customer seminars and industry events
- Collect and report on industry trends, competitor information, and customer events
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- At least 1+ years of sales experience
- Experience in a high volume inbound sales role preferred
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems (Salesforce or similar)
- Strong negotiation skills and a results-driven approach
- High energy and positive attitude to engage with and sell to customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Willingness to work onsite 3 days a week

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of rapid manufacturing technologies
Skills
- CRM experience with Salesforce or similar systems
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite

The estimated base salary range for new hires into this role is $21.63-$26.44 hourly + commission, depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.
