Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Solicit and research prospective client opportunities and develop prospects within assigned market/territories through various methods.
- Manage leads through analysis and solution-based programs to maximize sales growth, specifically in the Planned Maintenance realm.
- Build and maintain harmonious working relationships within Tucker Mechanical construction team to reveal and cultivate opportunities.
- Identify customer needs and respond with solutions that Tucker Mechanical can provide.
- Confidently perform presentations in front of customers and potential clients.
- Develop, write, and review client proposal documents, including financial and technical sections provided within Tucker Mechanical’s standard template and pricing models.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to the growth and development as a professional.
- Provide the utmost care and attention to the client before, during and after the sale.
- Create and maintain client relationships.
- Independently prioritize and efficiently manage time.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the HVAC commercial service industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales or technical field experience.
- Honesty, integrity, and personal accountability must be the foundational attributes of all applicants.
- Strong communication, customer presentation skills and a demonstrated sales aptitude.
- Self-motivated/self-disciplined strong organizational skills are a must.
- Computer skills using MS Office and Excel are required.
- Trainable, coachable, and a willingness to learn.
- Team Player: Ability to work cohesively with co-workers and clients.
- Ability to remain courteous and kind during times of adversity.
- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Demands
- Sit, see, talk, and hear.
- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Frequently use office tools and equipment such as computers, calculators, copy machines etc.
- Mobility within the office and warehouse.
- Regularly commute to and visit client sites.
- Lift at least 50lbs.
Work Environment
- Typical office and warehouse environment conditions.
- Frequent travel to and visit client offices.
