In-Store Sales - Floater
About the role
Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking an In-Store Sales Floater based in Dover, NJ. This role operates on a first shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Takes phone orders, addresses inquiries, tracks order status and shipments, and solves customer issues
- Affirms and recommends products to promote additional sales of hard goods and gases to meet target margins
- Conducts product demonstrations for customers using customer insights to develop new offerings
- Collaborates with and supports the Outside Sales team
- Maintains customer records and files, including accurate account setup and pricing
- Performs warehouse duties and moves cylinders for customers as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- More than one (1+) year(s) of Customer Service / Inside Sales / Counter Sales experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- No DUI/DWI or other alcohol (driving) related convictions within the last ten (10) years
- Knowledgeable with computers/printers for new employees and when installing new equipment in locations
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- More than one (1+) year(s) of Customer Service / Inside Sales / Counter Sales experience
- Excellent customer service skills
