In-Seat Prep Cook at Angel Stadium

About the role

Under the direction of stand manager, supervisor, manager, or chef, this individual will be responsible for effectively supporting all culinary operations at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times.
• Execute station requirements to specification of stand manager in a timely manner.
• Follow recipes and cook them to desired specifications.
• Demonstrate basic knife skills and production techniques, including fryer production.
• Maintain and abide by County Health/Sanitation as well as Legends Hospitality standards.
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive guest relations.
• Ensure only the highest-quality product is served to guests.
• Provide efficient service and quality products by following direction of management.
• Ensure all equipment is in proper operational condition and cleaned regularly.
• Show flexibility by rotating to other service locations when necessary.
• Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year cooking experience in the foodservice industry, preferably in premium services, catering, and concessions environments for a sports and entertainment venue.
• Strong communication skills with co-workers and management.
• Commitment to delivering a high level of customer and client service with demonstrated initiative and culinary skills.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Flexibility to work extended hours due to business requirements, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• High level of organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Maintain positive body language and consistently provide positive guest service.
• Ability to make generalizations, evaluations, and decisions without immediate supervision.
• At least 18 years old.
• Obtain CA Food Handlers Certificate.
• Willingness to work hours that vary according to event schedule.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing, walking, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
• Able to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 lbs.

Pay

Hourly Rate: $26.00

Schedule

Part-Time Seasonal, on-site at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA. Hours vary according to event schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
