Responsibilities
- Oversee daily in-room dining operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all orders.
- Supervise, coach, and support IRD servers and support staff.
- Ensure all orders are properly prepared, presented, and delivered according to resort standards.
- Monitor service flow, timing, and order accuracy to maintain efficiency.
- Absorb order taking, POS entry, and guest communication as needed.
- Ensure proper setup of trays, carts, and in-room service standards.
- Oversee billing accuracy, posting to guest folios, and cash handling procedures.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and service recovery professionally.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily priorities and updates.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of IRD service areas and equipment.
- Support inventory management, ordering, and supply levels.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and service standards.
- Partner with culinary and front office teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Support scheduling, labor management, and productivity goals.
- Step into operational roles during peak periods to support the team.
- Uphold Black Desert Resort’s ultra-premium hospitality standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2–3 years of food and beverage experience, preferably in room service or upscale dining.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of service standards and guest experience expectations.
- Proficiency with POS systems and guest billing processes.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
