Job Summary
The In-Room Dining Supervisor – Full-Time oversees daily IRD operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders, and maintains high service standards. This role supervises IRD team members, supports service execution, and ensures all guest interactions meet Black Desert Resort’s ultra-premium hospitality expectations.

- Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time
- Pay Rate: $18/hour plus portion of service charges
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily in-room dining operations: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all orders.
- Supervise, coach, and support IRD servers and support staff:
- Ensure all orders are properly prepared, presented, and delivered according to resort standards.
- Maintain service flow, timing, and order accuracy to maintain efficiency.
- Assist with order taking, POS entry, and guest communication as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of IRD service areas and equipment.
- Monitor billing accuracy, posting to guest folios, and cash handling procedures:
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and service recovery professionally.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily priorities and updates.
- Support inventory management, ordering, and supply levels.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and service standards.
- Partner with culinary and front office teams: Ensure seamless service delivery.
- Support scheduling, labor management, and productivity goals:
- Step into operational roles during peak periods to support the team.
- Uphold Black Desert Resort’s ultra-premium hospitality standards:
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2–3 years of food and beverage experience, preferably in room service or upscale dining.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of service standards and guest experience expectations.
- Proficiency with POS systems and guest billing processes.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
