About the role
The In-Room Dining Server at Park Hyatt Chicago is responsible for delivering a sophisticated dining experience to guests in the privacy of their rooms. This is not a restaurant-based role; you will be the face of personalized dining, creating memorable moments through thoughtful presentation, prompt delivery, and intuitive service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver restaurant-quality meals directly to guests’ rooms from the NoMI Kitchen menu.
- Set up elegant meal presentations to exceed guest expectations.
- Take accurate orders and provide detailed menu recommendations.
- Ensure order accuracy, timely delivery, and high standards of presentation.
- Work independently and thrive on creating tailored guest experiences.
- Handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting trays, carrying multiple items, standing for long periods, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate efficiently with the kitchen, bartenders, and fellow servers to ensure smooth and seamless service.
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance, reflecting the high standards of Park Hyatt Chicago and NoMI Kitchen.
- Flexibility to work 2 overnight shifts and 3 flexible shifts per week, including weekends and holidays as required.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years' experience as an In-Room Dining Server in a food service or hospitality role, in a luxury or high-end restaurant environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Attention to detail, ensuring order accuracy, timely delivery, and high standards of presentation.
- A demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional service with a focus on creating a welcoming, personalized dining experience for each guest.
- Physical stamina to handle the physical demands of the role.
- Ability to work efficiently with the kitchen, bartenders, and fellow servers.
- Professionalism in maintaining a polished and professional appearance.

Pay
The hourly rate for this position is $13.66 + Tips. This position is also eligible to earn overtime and premium pay under certain circumstances.
Schedule
Flexibility to work 2 overnight shifts and 3 flexible shifts per week, including weekends and holidays as required to meet the needs of our guests and the business.
