In-Room Dining Server
The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is located in the famed Deer Valley ski resort, approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. Part of a new development, the hotel features 436 luxury accommodations, including 381 guest rooms and 55 residential units, along with 30,000 square feet of versatile indoor meeting space, multiple dining options, a pool, whirlpools, a kids club, and a fitness area.
About the role
The In-Room Dining Server is primarily responsible for taking guests' food and/or beverage orders and delivering them to their rooms. This fast-paced position requires excellent communication skills, guest service abilities, and constant customer interaction. Prior serving experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Take guest food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver orders to guest rooms in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain strong communication with guests and team members.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including AM & PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Current Alcohol server certification and/or food service permit as required by local or state government agency.
- Food service and/or other relevant certification as required.
