In-Room Dining Server

About the role

Pyramid Global Hospitality is a leading hospitality management company with over 200 hotels and resorts and 18,000 associates across the US, Caribbean, and Europe. The position is at Chatham Bars Inn, a Forbes Five‑Star resort on 25 oceanfront acres in Chatham, Massachusetts, featuring 217 rooms and suites, a private beach, oceanfront pool, spa, tennis, farm‑to‑table dining, and six distinct dining venues.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with telephone orders
• Announce current menu items, ingredients, daily specials, and suggest additional menu options
• Promptly serve food while ensuring quality and accuracy of orders
• Maintain proper presentation of all food deliveries
• Perform all duties and adhere to the Chatham Bars Inn Service Standards
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Room Service or as a Server is preferred but not necessary
• Availability to work through the fall preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work long hours
• Well‑groomed appearance
• Superior organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a team setting as well as independently
• Enjoys a fast‑paced environment
• Ensures proper methods of payment from guests
• Follows direction well
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible with schedules and hours (including weekends & holidays)
• Able to work with cleaning chemicals/products
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record necessary
• Current TIPS Alcohol Certification or comparable alcohol service certification

Pay

$14.93 per hour + tips
