In Room Dining Captain (Full Time) - Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort and Club

About the role

As an In-Room Dining Captain at the award-winning Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club, you will lead the In-Room Dining team in delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guests. The resort, located in Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, offers a coastal setting with a laid-back vibe and stunning ocean views. With over 400 rooms and eight food and beverage outlets, the team plays a key role in creating unforgettable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm and upbeat guest interactions, proactively enhancing their experience
• Lead the room service team by overseeing order rotation, monitoring service quality, and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Prepare room service trays and tables in advance to support timely order delivery
• Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms or meeting rooms
• Present checks to guests, process payments, and return signed checks to the order taker
• Assist with order-taking tasks and respond to room service phone calls
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations
