About the role

Augusta Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Inpatient Advanced Gastroenterology physician to join their expanding Gastroenterology practice in the picturesque Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. As an Advanced Gastroenterologist, you will thrive in a collaborative practice setting and enjoy the luxury of a state-of-the-art endoscopy suite.

Practice highlights

• Practice Setting: Inpatient, hospital-based, single-specialty group
• Schedule: 7 days on 7 days off
• Call: 7 days per week – 24 hour day call position
• Current Staff: 4 Physicians and 7 APP's in practice
• Clinical Volume: 20+; average annual wRVUs ~9,288
• Endoscopy Center: 6 Procedure Suites and 18 private Patient Prep/Recovery Rooms
• Collaboration: Collegial Medical Staff and large network for gaining new patients. Strong relationship with General Surgery team.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Board Certification in Gastroenterology required
• 1-2 years experience after fellowship required
• Eligible for medical licensure in Virginia required
• Strong interest in delivering state-of-the-art care in community settings

Pay

• Minimum Base - $626,299
• Sign-on - $35,000 with 2 year commitment
• Relocation - Up to $10,000 (receipt based)
• CME - $4200
