About the role

The incoming physician should have excellent clinical skills and expertise in general Gastroenterology diagnosis (screenings, GI bleeds, recall on polyps, scopes, etc.) in an outpatient and inpatient setting. ERCP skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Spend time in an outpatient setting seeing new and established patients with the support of administrators, physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and office staff.

Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.
  • Excellent clinical skills and expertise in general Gastroenterology diagnosis (screenings, GI bleeds, recall on polyps, scopes, etc.) in an outpatient and inpatient setting.
  • ERCP skills are required.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Current New York State Medical License.
  • Completion of accredited residency program in Gastroenterology.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
