Essential Duties
- Load and unload of materials
- Installation of flooring, drywall, cladding systems
- Maintain equipment and tools
- Complete pre-work for installation, may include leveling floor, floor removal, moving furniture, etc.
- Use common hand tools such as saws, finish nails, utility knives, etc.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and polite manner
- Handle company machinery and power tools responsibly
- Review each work order
- Be responsible for each project they are working on and the quality of the work completed
Qualifications
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Critical Thinking, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail
- Commercial construction experience, preferably with flooring specifics
- Ability to read blueprints and specs
Safety Requirements
- Conduct safety inspections on all jobsites
- Keep safety training and certifications up to date or scheduled
- Comply with Bonitz safety policies to ensure a safe and efficient workplace
- Commit to working safely while completing all tasks
- Stay up to date on requirements for necessary equipment and training per job
