About the role

The Home Building Team Members perform manufacturing production operations assigned to each department in the home-building process. The position follows standard production methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe while observing all relevant OSHA regulations.
• Work in a team environment to produce products that conform to our quality standards while achieving productivity objectives.
• Serve as a good steward of company physical assets, protecting them from damage and misuse, reporting needed maintenance, and keeping assigned areas clean and orderly.
• Assist the Department Manager and Area Coordinator in planning and organizing manufacturing activities by communicating anticipated material shortages, identifying required tool maintenance, and reporting quality and productivity issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Versatility and willingness to transfer into various departments when necessary.
• Clear and effective communication.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings (greatly desired).

Physical Demands

• Must be able to walk, climb, and lift at least 50 pounds, as well as perform other physical duties as needed.
