In-House Technology Transactions Attorney

About the role

The San Francisco Bay Area office of a large national corporation is seeking a senior technology transactions attorney with expertise in the life sciences. Your resume will not be forwarded to an employer without your explicit permission. All communications are handled confidentially.

Responsibilities

• Advising on complex technology transactions involving life sciences companies
• Participating in negotiations and drafting agreements related to intellectual property, licensing, and other technology-related matters
• Assisting in due diligence processes for mergers and acquisitions involving life sciences firms
• Managing a portfolio of clients and managing their expectations regarding legal services

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in technology transactions, with a focus on life sciences
• Strong academic record and membership in good standing with a state bar association
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• Experience in drafting and negotiating technology licenses, patents, and other intellectual property agreements
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to technology transactions
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
