Troubleshooting and Repairs
- Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on commercial cooking equipment
- Travel by company vehicle to locations, client sites, and meetings as required
- Install and replace casters on kitchen equipment
- Identify issues requiring licensed or third party service and escalate appropriately
- Repair and replace door sweeps, weatherstripping, and closing arms
- Perform basic door adjustments to correct opening and closing issues
- Address simple break/fix door hardware concerns to maintain safety and accessibility
- Replace outlet covers and faceplates
- Replace interior dining room lighting and bulbs
- Replace exterior light fixtures where permitted
- Report electrical issues outside of scope to licensed vendors
- Repair and adjust restroom partitions
- Perform minor kitchen and dining room wall repairs (patching, touchups)
- Install shelving and wall mounted fixtures
- Replace mop sinks where applicable
- Perform caulking and sealing as needed throughout the building
- Address sink leaks and replace/install sink components
- Snake drains to clear minor blockages
- Perform caulking and sealing around plumbing fixtures
- Complete small piping repairs within scope and code requirements
- Escalate complex plumbing issues to licensed professionals
- Works closely with Restaurant Management and Facilities/Development teams
- Coincides with approved vendors for out of scope repairs
Required Skills
- 2+ years of hands on maintenance or facilities maintenance or facilities experience required
- Maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record at all times
- Experience in restaurants, retail, or hospitality environments strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and equipment repair
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve common maintenance issues independently
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Able to lift 70 lbs and work on ladders as required

- High school diploma required. Degree strongly preferred.

Work Environment
- Combination of kitchen, dining room, and exterior environments
- Exposure to heat, noise, and wet conditions
- Flexible schedule may include early mornings or off hours to support operations
- Follow all company safety policies, local codes, and OSHA guidelines
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Ensure repairs do not interfere with food safety or guest experience
