About the Company

Our mission is to uplift as many communities as possible through our app-based marketplace that connects healthcare professionals with workplaces needing amazing workers. This enables hundreds of thousands of people to achieve financial stability while providing essential care to millions across the U.S. Founded in 2016, we are a remote-first team of over 1,000 people building a top Y-Combinator company and have been profitable since 2022. As the leader in Long-Term Care staffing, we are rapidly expanding into Home Health, Hospitals, and more.

About the Role

We're building Million Dollar Nurse, a new YouTube channel for nurses and caretakers across America looking to advance their careers. Nurses are one of the largest and hardest-working groups in the country, but they have few resources available outside the classroom. We’re changing that, becoming the go-to place for nurses to learn and progress.

The first step is a YouTube channel similar to CeraVe’s Daily Derm. From there, we'll expand into a newsletter, an engaged community, and eventually a hub of free resources, akin to The White Coat Investor for doctors. You’ll be the person who makes that happen—both behind the scenes and on camera.

Responsibilities

  • Run a lean production creating 7 short-form videos and 1 long-form video every week. Initially, you’ll oversee an editor and thumbnail designer, with the team scaling as the channel grows.
  • Appear on camera 3-4 hours per week, hosting both daily shorts and weekly long-form videos.
  • Set the content strategy: determine topics, angles, and what to skip. For example, you’ll know “17 Habits of Rich Nurses” will perform well, while “Nursing Career Tips” won’t.
  • Manage the production process from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality work meets deadlines.
  • Analyze performance metrics bi-weekly alongside our Head of Social to refine production and boost results.

Qualifications

This role doesn’t fit one traditional resume—it could be a great fit for someone from content, journalism, operations, finance, healthcare, or a mix of these backgrounds. We prioritize who you are over your past experience. Key traits we’re looking for:

  • Magnetic on camera: Think CatGPT or Emily McDonald. You come across as a confident, genuine mentor who earns deep trust from the audience.
  • Curious and fast learner: This role spans finance, content, YouTube growth, team management, and an audience you may not yet know well. That should excite you, not intimidate you.
  • Strong writer: You can research and distill “boring” topics into engaging scripts that nurses are excited to watch.
  • Passionate about the audience: Nurses deserve better resources, and the idea of helping them improve their lives should energize you.

Bonus, not required:

  • Experience producing video content.
  • Growth experience with a YouTube channel.
  • Background in financial services, media, or healthcare.
