In Home Therapist - Full Time or Part Time

Fuller Hospital is a 109-bed licensed, private psychiatric facility in South Attleboro, Massachusetts providing inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services to residents of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The In-Home Therapy Program offers intensive therapy and family sessions in the home, guided by a master's-level clinician and a bachelor's-level support staff.

About the role

As an In-Home Therapist (IHT), you will facilitate intensive in-home family therapy sessions with youth under the age of 21 and their families. You will implement therapeutic interventions, parent coaching, crisis intervention, and psychoeducation. A bachelor’s-level Therapeutic Training & Support Staff (TT&S) will assist with co-facilitating sessions, treatment planning, and case management.

• Complete progress notes, comprehensive and CANS assessments, safety plans, and treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention, crisis calls, and skills coaching as needed.
• Coordinate care with collateral contacts regarding treatment plan goals and progress.
• Identify and utilize community resources; provide aftercare referrals to sustain treatment progress.

Position Structure

Client Diagnoses: Includes trauma, behavioral problems, depression, anxiety, autism, ADHD, ODD, and other presenting issues.

Hours: Part-time (24 hours) or full-time (32 hours) positions available. You create your own schedule based on availability, with sessions typically occurring after school hours. Remote work is allowed for documentation, with no required office hours.

Caseload: Part-time clinicians may have 4-6 cases; full-time clinicians may have 8-10 cases. No set client limit—caseload is based on hours worked.

Areas of Service: Southeast Massachusetts, including Attleboro, Taunton, Mansfield, Foxboro, New Bedford, and Fall River. Efforts are made to centralize cases to minimize travel.

Crisis Stabilization: Clients may contact you during crises. Safety plans are established, and a 24-hour crisis line is available if you are unavailable.

Supervision: One hour of weekly face-to-face supervision with a licensed clinician (in-person or via Zoom) and optional weekly group supervision.

Staff Meetings: Mandatory one-hour weekly meetings on Thursdays from 12-1 PM, typically via Zoom, with one in-person meeting per month.

Paperwork: Progress notes and billing are due Mondays by 2:00 PM. CANS assessments and treatment plan updates are due every 3 months. Fill-in electronic versions of paperwork are provided, and insurance authorizations are handled for you.

Telehealth: Hybrid in-person and telehealth sessions are available, with decisions made collaboratively with families.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.
• Eligibility for a paid internship as an IHT if in the second year of a master’s program.
• Licensure or licensure eligibility preferred.
• Outpatient or home-based social work experience preferred.
