Position Overview

Dragonfly Cares is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide individualized in‑home services for children with autism and developmental disabilities. This role is ideal for a BCBA who is passionate about supporting diverse families and ensuring accessible, high‑quality care within the home and community.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized behavioral instruction in‑home.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized ABA treatment plans.
• Conduct parent counseling and training (PCT) sessions, equipping families with strategies to support their child's development.
• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting interventions as needed for optimal results.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and clinical directors to ensure comprehensive support.
• Maintain detailed records, including progress reports and intervention outcomes.
• Stay informed on ethical standards and the latest advancements in ABA practices.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in ABA or a related field.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or LBA required, or in process.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities in a home setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and ABA principles.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering Parent Counseling and Training (PCT) sessions.
• Experience implementing in‑home Behavior Intervention Services (BIS).
• Experience with IEP development and CPSE/CSE processes in New York State.
• Fluency in additional languages beyond English and Spanish.
