About the role
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide care to patients in their homes. This position is available for new patients and operates on a Sunday-Saturday schedule from 7:00am-7:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Provide high acuity care to pediatric patients, including those with tracheostomies and ventilators.
- Document patient care electronically using tablets provided in each patient's home.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and company policies.
Requirements
- Maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification (with hands-on component).
- TB skin test (within the last 12 months).
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required (one year required in Georgia).
- Reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
