About the role

Aveanna is a leading private duty nursing company that puts people first. We provide compassionate home care services to patients ranging from infants to teenagers, with high acuity needs such as tracheostomy and mechanical ventilation.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver care to patients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Assess and document patient conditions using electronic tablets provided in each patient's home.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide ongoing education to patients and families on managing their health conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification (with hands-on component).
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required (one year required in Georgia).
  • Reliable transportation.
