About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide skilled nursing care in a home setting for pediatric patients.
Responsibilities
- Delivering and documenting patient care based on physician orders and care plans
- Monitoring and assessing patient conditions, reporting changes promptly
- Administering medications, managing feeding tubes, and implementing nursing interventions
- Educating patients and families on disease management and self-care techniques
- Ensuring infection control and maintaining compliance with regulations
- Participating in ongoing education and maintaining professional competencies
- Providing high-quality, compassionate care, documenting activities accurately, and collaborating with healthcare team members to achieve optimal clinical outcomes
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted LVN license in the practicing state
- Current CPR certification and TB test within last 12 months
- Preferably six months of clinical nursing experience, especially in pediatrics or home health
Skills
- Strong attention to detail, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, reposition patients, and perform home care tasks
