In Home Healthcare LPN: Low Acuity (Evenings shifts)

About the role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team in Prairieville, LA. The schedule includes Wednesday (2:30pm-10:30pm), Friday, and Saturday (6:30pm-8am).

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring feeding tube support.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care activities electronically using tablets provided in the patient's home.
• Adhere to all healthcare policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification with hands-on component.
• TB skin test (within the last 12 months).
• Six months of hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days.
• Current CPR certification with hands-on component.
• TB skin test (within the last 12 months).
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation.
