In Home Healthcare LPN: High Acuity (Evenings shifts)

About the role

Aveanna is a leading private duty nursing company that provides compassionate care to patients in their homes. We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team in Port Allen, LA.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Assist with feeding, hygiene, mobility, and other daily living activities as needed.
• Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times.

Requirements

• Maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component).
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation.

• Must have reliable transportation.

Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and a compassionate nature are essential.
