In Home Healthcare LPN: High Acuity (Day shifts)

About the role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA. This position offers a flexible schedule with options for full-time, part-time, or PRN work, including evenings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in their homes, ensuring their needs are met according to medical plans.
• Document patient care in real-time using tablets provided in each patient’s home.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in ongoing education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component).
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation.

• Weekly and/or daily pay.

Schedule

• Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday: 8a-2:50pm
• Wednesday: 8a-1pm
