Senior Helpers of Waxhaw-Monroe is an independently owned and operated franchise of Senior Helpers®, a national leader in in-home senior care since 2005. We provide a range of services—from specialized chronic disease care to companion support—to help seniors maintain independence and quality of life throughout Union, Cabarrus, Stanly, and Rowan counties.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Participate in client preferred activities (e.g., gardening, games, crafts)
• Prepare meals and support light household tasks
• Monitor and document changes in clients’ physical or cognitive condition
• Maintain a safe, clean environment
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Follow individualized care plans and company policies

Requirements

• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience required
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Reliable transportation to client homes
• Must pass background and drug screenings
