CNA PCA HHA - Geriatric In Home Caregiver

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for a Certified Nursing Assistant to care for their clients. The position offers a competitive wage range of $19-$23 per hour, along with a $500 referral bonus.

Responsibilities

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
• Develop close relationships with clients while helping them with:
• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Ranging of motion/exercises
• Ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Assisting with medication reminders

Requirements

• At least one year of work experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Active CNA license registered with North Carolina in good standing.
• Compliant with Bayada policy needed for home care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
