Caregiver / CNA / PCA /HHA – In-Home Senior Care

Pay rate: $16.50–$20/hour, depending on shift and clients.

About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Home Health Aide (HHA) to reliably serve patients in the following counties: [county one, county two, county three] in BAYADA’s Assistive Care Division. As a member of our personal care and companionship team, you will support clients one-on-one with activities of daily living while we support you with training, flexibility, and a team dedicated to creating a great employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow a written plan of care by a registered nurse to provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services that help adults stay safe and independent at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Support range-of-motion exercises.
• Assist with ambulation, including transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Provide medication reminders.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of verifiable work experience or a CNA/LNA license/caregiver certificate.
• No experience? No problem—we will train you to become a Home Health Aide.

• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
