In-Home Caregiver | One-on-One Care

SummitWest Care is a local nonprofit home care agency seeking caring and dependable individuals to support clients throughout Mesa County who wish to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. As a caregiver you will have the opportunity to build meaningful one-on-one relationships while helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and conversation
• Assisting with meal planning and preparation
• Helping with light housekeeping and daily household tasks
• Supporting personal care needs and routine health maintenance activities
• Observing and reporting concerns, changes, or client needs

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated
• Open to learning and training
• Comfortable working independently
• Able to provide their own transportation with valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle

No previous health or caregiving experience required.

Pay

$17.00–$17.55 per hour (dependent on level of care)

Schedule

• Part‑time (under 30 hours per week)
• Flexible scheduling built around client need and caregiver availability
• Weekend availability required (Saturday & Sunday)
• Daytime availability required (8 am–5 pm)
• Opportunities to increase hours
