The In-Home Caregiver at Brazos Home Care provides crucial support and assistance to clients in the comfort of their own homes. This role involves assisting clients with activities of daily living, providing companionship, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Auxiliary with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks
• Maintain vigilance over client’s health and behavior
• Report any changes in client’s health or behavior to supervisors

Requirements

• Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred
• Caregiver must have a compassionate and patient demeanor
• Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes
• High school diploma or equivalent required
