In-Home Caregiver

About the role

Tungland, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will join a mission-driven team and create relationships that motivate us all every day.

Responsibilities

• Helping provide one on one care to adults who live with family or other caregivers or on their own
• Participate more fully in community life
• Home Based community settings within The IHSS program and working closely with our HCBS family to ensure the health and safety of the individuals we serve are being met in their family's homes
• Provide assistance and strategies to the individuals we serve to live as independently as possible
• Assist people with their personal hygiene
• Support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs

Requirements

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
