In Home Caregiver - Dayshift & Weekends

About the role

This is a part‑time position with the possibility of up to full‑time hours based on flexibility, availability, and demand. The role requires traveling to client homes in Hanover, Spring Grove, New Oxford, Abbottstown, PA, and surrounding areas. We are seeking trustworthy, compassionate individuals passionate about helping seniors in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide non‑medical assistance and companionship to seniors at home
• Issue medication reminders
• Conduct household errands and provide transportation to doctor’s appointments
• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
• Provide mobility assistance, such as assisting with walking and transfers

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years old to apply
• 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
• Passing criminal background check and drug screening
• Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle required
• Positive attitude and proven track record of dependability
• Communicate effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors
• CNA license preferred but not required
