In-Home Caregiver
Location: Dane County
About the role
A person in this role will provide personal care and housekeeping services to individuals in their own home. Community Living Alliance provides all necessary training, so no experience is required. The schedule is flexible and can work around other jobs, childcare, school, or other life scenarios. You can choose to work with one client or with multiple clients if you want more hours. Each shift ranges from 1 to 3 hours. We have clients on bus routes or within walking distance depending on your location.
Responsibilities
While each person is unique and has different care needs, below is a sample of personal cares you may provide:
- Showering/grooming
- G-tube care
- Dressing
- Meal preparation
- Transfers/repositioning
- Toileting (full assist)
- Bowel programs
- Housekeeping
- Any additional cares provided in the client’s individual care plan
Requirements
- 18+ years of age
- Own a Smart Phone for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Capable of lifting/moving/pushing/pulling 35 pounds
