About the role
The Territory Manager plays a critical, leadership role within the Product Sales & Marketing program. They are responsible for facilitating hands-on, industry experiences and mentoring each Product Sales & Marketing Specialist to build a strong foundation of product and market knowledge. The individual will work directly with each PSMS both in-field and in-office to gain a complete understanding of their performance, abilities, and fit within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of early career individuals by providing hands-on, direct coaching through in-field and in-office learning opportunities.
- Identify and develop areas of strength and opportunity for each team member through facilitated one-on-one feedback sessions.
- Take ownership and drive territory sales growth by analyzing and overseeing strategic retail, wholesale and end-user initiatives.
- Develop strong, consultative relationships with regional KDMs to support the Klein Tools brand and top-line sales growth.
- Represent and market Klein Tools on university campuses to target and hire top talent.
- Partner with trade schools and vocational programs to demonstrate Klein Tool's investment in the education of the next generation of tradespeople.
- Work with Product, Sales and Marketing internal stakeholders to execute monthly training sessions to foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Prepare and present quarterly talent performance reviews of direct reports, in collaboration with Program Manager, to executive stakeholders.
- Gather and analyze feedback from internal stakeholders to identify continuous program improvements to align the program with larger organizational goals.
- Drives effective communication and collaboration within the organization.
- Fosters good working relationships among team members and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree completed within the last two years in engineering, management, marketing or related business field or equivalent years of experience.
- 1 to 2 years of sales, marketing or management experience.
- Demonstrated ability and hunger to lead a team of early-career employees.
- Demonstrated understanding of retail and wholesale environments.
- An understanding and ability to perform related mathematics and financial calculations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Physical Demand

Pay
$80,000 - $100,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time position.
