IN | Clinical Medial Director | Residential Treatment Setting | Full Time

About the role

The Midwest Center for Youth & Families is seeking a Full Time, W2 Clinical/Medical Director to join our team in Kouts, IN. This role is 80% clinical and 20% administrative, with on-site or tele-psychiatry responsibilities once a month.

Responsibilities

• Manage adolescent case load in a Residential Treatment Center setting
• Provide clinical oversight and supervision of staff
• Collaborate with other medical professionals and therapists
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and prescribe medications as needed
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual needs
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
• Engage in research and professional development activities

Requirements

• Current IN Medical License, or ability to obtain
• B/C General or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
• Prior Medical Director experience not required
• Graduating fellows welcome to apply

Qualifications

• Experience in adolescent mental health care
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Compensation is competitive and includes a Medical Director Stipend.

Schedule
