Responsibilities
- Manage all prior authorization requirements for covered interventional psychiatric services.
- Oversee and administer in-office interventional psychiatric services, ensuring compliance and high-quality patient care.
- Oversee and manage patient messages within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring timely responses and appropriate actions.
- Handle patient calls requesting medication refills, ensuring accuracy and adherence to clinic protocols.
- Process and manage prescription requests within the Electronic Health Record system, following established guidelines.
- Clock in and manage communication with pharmacies regarding various medication-related queries and requests.
- Handle all clinical requests received via fax, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- Handle incoming calls from pharmacies, addressing inquiries and facilitating necessary actions.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns via phone calls, ensuring a high standard of patient care and support.
- Provide assistance in monitoring and managing lab requests as part of clinical support operations.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with at least 1 year experience.
- Proficiency in clinical support services and handling patient-related tasks.
- Ability to effectively work and deliver support services remotely.
- Willingness to assist in diverse clinical tasks and provide backup support as needed.
- Capable of actively collaborating with diverse clinical teams.
- Ability to monitor workflows and offer constructive feedback for process enhancement.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and clinical staff.
- Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and multitask efficiently.
- Dedication to supporting the clinic’s goals and working towards efficient patient care.
