Responsibilities
- Manage ocean and air import shipments from origin to final delivery.
- Communicate with customers and provide shipment updates.
- Cook with overseas agents, carriers, customs brokers, and truckers.
- Prepare arrival notices, delivery orders, and billing invoices.
- Track shipments and resolve delays/issues.
- Maintain records and data in CargoWise.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and company procedures.
Requirements
- 2+ years of import freight forwarding experience, preferably ocean and air.
- Knowledge of import documentation, Incoterms, and U.S. Customs procedures.
- CargoWise and MS Office experience.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
