Supports mid-to-large-scale projects for Helix Migration, including single- and multi-site implementations involving multiple products and services. Leads end-to-end migration projects, including implementation planning, scheduling, risk management, resource allocation, go-live/cutover coordination, user acceptance training, reporting, post-implementation audits, and lessons learned.
Responsibilities
- Lead mid-to-large-scale account migrations from planning through go-live and post-implementation.
- Develop implementation models, deployment plans, schedules, and project timelines.
- Manage multiple concurrent workstreams across products and services.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, program leadership, and client stakeholders.
- Manage risks, resources, action items, escalations, and project status reporting.
- Conduct user acceptance training, post-implementation audits, and lessons-learned reviews.
- Use project management and reporting tools to track project progress and outcomes.
- Support go-lives, including required weekend and overtime coverage.
- Travel domestically as required; international travel may be assessed on an individual basis.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of implementation and/or project management experience.
- PMP certification or PMP training; PMP certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent senior-level implementation/project management experience.
- Strong knowledge and application of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams concurrently.
- Experience with mid-to-large-scale migration projects.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder groups.
- Experience with multi-site or account migrations and client-facing implementations.
- Experience with project management/PPM tools, dashboards, weekly status reporting, and project metrics.
- Preferred experience in enterprise SaaS, telecommunications, retail operations, finance, or professional services.
Schedule
- Fully onsite, 5 days per week in Louisville, KY / Fairdale, KY area.
- Weekend and/or overtime support required during migrations.
- 12-month contract position.
Additional Information
- Formal people-management experience is preferred but not required. Experience supervising employees, managing staffing/scheduling, or overseeing performance is a plus.
- Experience leading onsite teams, managing day-to-day operations, or maintaining accountability for team performance is highly valued.
- Experience leading project teams, training or mentoring employees, coordinating vendors, and managing stakeholders is valuable.
- Candidates outside the Louisville area may be considered if they have a clear plan to relocate at their own expense before the position begins.
