Role Overview The Implementation Specialist II, RCM independently owns end-to-end implementations for behavioral health treatment centers on the Kipu RCM platform. You will lead discovery, translate billing and revenue cycle requirements into configuration decisions, train end users, and drive accountability for timelines and deliverables. This role operates with minimal oversight and contributes to team quality through mentorship and process improvement. Key Responsibilities Discovery & Solution Design Lead discovery conversations to identify client billing workflows, payer mix, compliance requirements, and constraints.Translate client requirements into clear, actionable RCM configuration decisions aligned with best practices.Challenge misaligned or risky requests respectfully, explaining tradeoffs and downstream billing impacts. Configuration & Data Quality Configure billing workflows, payer rules, fee schedules, and system settings accurately on the first pass.Troubleshoot RCM configuration issues by identifying root causes rather than treating symptoms.Validate billing data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency before go-live. Client Training & Adoption Deliver structured, goal-oriented training that prepares clients to manage billing workflows independently.Equip client administrators to train their own teams on billing processes and system usage.Drive client accountability for tasks, timelines, and data deliverables. Project Delivery & Risk Management Own project documentation, ensuring records and project plans reflect reality.Identify risks early and document them with clear descriptions, owners, and mitigation plans.Coordinate with cross-functional partners when scope, risk, or complexity warrants it. Go-Live Readiness & Adoption Prepare clients for go-live by validating that all billing readiness criteria are genuinely met.Support post-go-live adoption by tracking billing accuracy, claim submission rates, and early revenue cycle health.Contribute to process improvements and share learnings with peers and newer team members. Qualifications Required 2-4 years of experience implementing an RCM system, or a combination of RCM implementation and technical support.6+ years of revenue cycle management experience.Strong communication skills with the ability to lead structured client meetings and drive decisions.Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing timelines. Preferred Experience in behavioral health, mental health, or addiction treatment settings.Familiarity with EDI, ERA, clearinghouse processes, and payer enrollment workflows.Experience mentoring or supporting newer team members.
