This is a hybrid position working 3 days in the office and 2 days at home each week.

About the role

As a Client Onboarding Specialist, you will provide the first interaction between small business clients and ADP's industry-leading payroll and HR solutions after sale. Building strong relationships with clients and seamlessly implementing ADP's technologies, you will ensure your clients are set up for long-term success with ADP. You'll make an immediate impact on the day-to-day lives of your clients' employees—from paychecks to health benefits and beyond.

You will spend most of your day answering calls from the queue and following up on open items to ensure your clients' needs are met and that they are comfortable using our products and services. Every day will be different as you meet new clients across various geographies and industries, tailoring solutions to their unique needs. This role operates in a metrics-driven call center environment with a structured schedule, offering ongoing training, development, and mentorship to support your success.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard Clients: Create exceptional onboarding experiences for each product or service implementation. Help clients develop the skills and confidence to use ADP’s products with ease through expertise and relationship-building.
  • Implement ADP Technologies: Analyze existing systems, interface requirements, and business processes. Incorporate new processes, tools, and approaches when recommending and implementing ADP solutions.
  • Partner Internally: Collaborate with ADP associates in sales and customer service. Exchange routine information with members of the client project team, including priorities, timeliness, and issues as they arise.
  • Multi-Task & Communicate: Work on multiple time-sensitive follow-ups and projects simultaneously. Share essential information with clients and internal teams while adhering to a daily schedule and managing a high volume of inbound calls. Note that daily phone time may increase during peak seasons, such as at the close of the year.

Requirements

  • Prior experience is not required; training will be provided.
  • Ability to work overtime hours during peak seasons.
  • Comfort working in a metrics-driven call center environment with a structured schedule.
  • Strong client rapport-building skills, establishing trust and professionalism over the phone and in writing.
  • Clear and actionable communication style that clients can easily understand.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks.

Pay

Base salary offers range from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour, with potential for additional compensation such as bonuses, equity, or commissions. The compensation range for this role is $17.02 to $30.14 per hour, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local minimum wage and exempt salary requirements.
