About the role
The Implementation Specialist plays a crucial part in transforming automotive operations through the implementation of innovative cloud-based technology solutions. This role involves supporting customers throughout the delivery process, translating business needs into effective system solutions, and improving operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Support the successful delivery and adoption of business solutions by assisting with requirements gathering, process analysis, system configuration, testing, and customer implementation activities.
- Gather and analyze business and functional requirements to support solution development and implementation.
- Document current and future-state business processes, workflows, and system interactions.
- Leverage automotive fixed operations knowledge to understand customer needs across parts and service environments.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to identify operational challenges and recommend process improvements.
- Support system configuration activities and participate in testing, validation, and user acceptance processes.
- Create and maintain user documentation, process maps, training materials, and implementation resources.
- Aid in project deliverables, milestone tracking, and implementation timelines.
- Perform basic data analysis to support solution design and measure post-implementation success.
- Help ensure customers are prepared for successful adoption of new systems and workflows.
Requirements
- Detail-oriented professional with automotive fixed operations experience and an interest in technology-driven business transformation.
- Experience implementing automotive Fixed Operations (Parts & Service) software solutions.
- Experience working with dealership operations, including dealership management systems (DMS), CRM platforms, or related automotive technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of automotive retail workflows and operational processes.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and process mapping tools such as Lucidchart or Visio.
- Familiarity with enterprise software platforms, CRM, ERP, or professional services automation tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to learn implementation methodologies and enterprise technology solutions.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 90% of the time to support customer engagements.
